It Takes a Community to Protect a Heart
Since its founding, StrongHER Hearts has screened hundreds of women and delivered heart health education across southern Alberta.
As a firefighter and paramedic, I’ve spent my career responding when emergencies happen.
StrongHER Hearts was created to help women receive the knowledge and support they need before the sirens are ever required.
This work is rooted in communities across southern Alberta, and it only exists because of the neighbors, businesses, and advocates who believe women’s heart health deserves to be taken seriously.
27+ years serving southern Alberta communities as a first responder
26 volunteers supporting the mission
1,500 volunteer hours contributed
$20,000+ invested to launch the initiative

Support the Mission
StrongHER Hearts is a community-driven initiative. Donations help support educational presentations, cardiovascular screenings, and the continued growth of programs focused on women’s heart health.
Funds are reinvested directly into the work of the organization, including:
• expanding community education programs
• supporting cardiovascular screening initiatives
• developing educational materials and workshops
• improving access for women who may not otherwise have the opportunity to participate
Every contribution helps strengthen the effort to bring greater awareness, earlier detection, and better understanding of women’s cardiovascular health.
